We are first timers and what a wonderful experience it was. Greeted by the owner soon as we sat down. Fast service, delicious food served with a smile. We will definitely be back next year! I wish more restaurants were as on point at this. Side note: Even the water was tasty!!!

Seriously, a place with biscuit in its name and almost all 5-Star reviews? How could I NOT go here?We were on our way to Tallahassee and stopped in for something to go. That something was a giant biscuit with delicious eggs on it, AND a hash brown!! Whaaaat?! It was the most delicious food I’ve had! We also got a cinnamon bun (giant!) for the road; it didn’t make it far - we devoured it right after the biscuit (I’m a pig, yes, I’m not proud!).The place was crowded on this Sunday morning, but was still very efficient. It’s nice inside - clean, and the folks are friendly. Next time I want to eat in and try different things. All in all, GREAT place - and, prices CHEAP. Look at my photo - that was only $3 (something). Where I’m from, that would be $15 and not nearly as good. Awesome place!

I have been coming to Crystal River off and on for 2 years now, and I always do my best to make it to breakfast here. Food is delicious, people are so friendly, lovely atmosphere. Update! Just revisited the Barn for the first time in a year. Breakfast was SPLENDID, still. I got up at 05:00 and drove 91 miles on my day off to have breakfast here, and was NOT disappointed. 2 things you HAVE to bring with you when you visit. #1 Personality and #2 Appetite! Love this place, fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere. The very definition of "Southern Hospitality".

Visited about two weeks ago. Best restaurant breakfast I've ever had and the staff were attentive and upbeat with both customers and each other. Unfortunately, none of the staff had on masks so I will not return until it is safe to do so. If that is different now, let me know and we'll visit again soon.

My family and I went to the biscuit barn in Crystal River this morning. Oh. My. Goodness. This place is fantastic. I knew it was going to be good by the amount of people there. They were super busy but we only had to wait about 60 seconds for a table. Those servers were on the top of their game at all times. The food was soooo good, I'm still dreaming about it. The portions are perfect and the price is even better. The owner (I assume, maybe manager) was walking around, greeting people by name and making sure everyone was happy. I love the decor. The more you look, the more cool stuff you find. This was a great start to our day. It's a little under 2 hours from my house but I'm already planning my trip back for those biscuits. Thank you!

We had the fortune to talk with AJ and Tiffany throughout our breakfast. They are owner-operators who you can tell love their business and there restaurant. The staff was all extremely helpful and courteous. I never had to ask for a refill to my iced tea. Blueberry muffins which they cut in half and grilled were out of control delicious. I am told the same battery is used for the pancakes which means they are delicious as well. I had the farmers market omelette with a biscuit and a side of gravy. The food was a 10 out of 10. The bacon was thick and crispy and the gravy was just right. Not too salty and not too bland. All in all the meal was as excellent as the conversation and we will definitely be back on our next trip to Crystal River.

Best restaurant. Great owner and staff. Real corned beef hash..real chicken pot pies..food like your momma and grandma make. The biscuits are insanely delicious. We eat there at least 3 times a week since the prices are within reason. See for yourselves.🍜

My husband and I stopped in on our way home from Cedar Key. Definitely a town favorite because there was a wait, but they moved quickly. The owner walks around and is very friendly. Food was delicious and came out very quickly. I wanted to try the cinnamon roll, but they had sold out, so it must be good.

Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum!!!!! We love this place and make a point to eat here when we are in the area. Staff is always friendly, food is perfect! (Biscuits, omelets, and cinnamon rolls especially) Manager almost always stops by each table to ensure a consistent, quality meal. You have to go!

Absolutely the best thing crystal river has to offer! We came for manatees and will be back for the breakfast. The prices are crazy cheap! (Well Over due for an increase) the bald man knew everyone Walked through the door and had an infectious smile that kept everyone in a good mood. Amazing place !!!!

DELICIOUS!!! Best and biggest Cinnamon Roll ever! My daughter LOVED her huge pancake and the eggs, bacon and xtra crispy hash towns were spot on! Tender biscuits, so much food, all for $15! Even the carafe coffee was good - Great service and a wonderful experience! Thank you Biscuit Barn, we can't wait to return!

The atmosphere, the service, and the food couldn't have possibly been better. I love supporting a family owned, Mom and Dad type of business like this. If I went to the Denny's near it I would have regrets on missing out on one of the best breakfasts I've probably ever experienced. The prices are more than reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious! I recomend the clucker chicken and gravy biscuit. Although it was my first time there, they have a variety of fresh food with great home cooking. The biscuits take me back to when I would visit my great grandmother. The manager was as friendly as he could be and treated you like family and sit down a talk to you. Everyone was happy to serve you and I couldn't feel more welcomed. Great breakfast and plan on going back for sure!

This place is the best breakfast or lunch in town always great service. Nicest and friendly customers too .have shared a table with other folks Owner is awesome alway asks how you are and if your food is perfect of course it is.Even if there are folks waiting Jen will get you in and seated quickly it’s well worth any wait cuz when you get on you super server will get you you order and food with such ease, All the girls help each other out so your food is served as soon as it ready I can’t wait to eat there again. Visited Crystal River from TN and the Biscuit Barn had the best breakfast I've ever ate at a restaurant!The service was excellent as well. We ate there 2 mornings in a row. The staff including the owner were very friendly. Pancakes and Biscuits are huge! Definitely recommend!

One of the best breakfast and lunch restaurants in Citrus County. Owner and staff are beyond nice, and the food is always great. The typical 10-15 minute wait for lunch, and breakfast on weekends, is definitely worth it. Locals love it.

So I called and order breakfast for the first time from this place.I asked them how much the biscuits would be over the phone and it was $4.and change. I got 2 biscuits. My total came out to be $13.29. I asked how it went from Being just over $4 a biscuit . She told me they charge $0.69 for each topping so I got charged $0.69 for two small pickles and $.69 two small pieces of onion. And most of the toppings didn't even make it on the sandwich. They were just slapped together on the side. Very disappointed. **I was NOT made aware of an "upcharge" until "I" asked about it when I came in to pay.

Oh my gosh I can't tell you how lucky I am to now live within walking distance of this place. As someone who is pescatarian I don't typically get a whole lot of options places, but there are SO many options for everyone on this menu it's a little overwhelming! I highly recommend the crab cake benedict on a biscuit with the Cajun seasoning. Also if anyone from the restaurant sees this....please add more options with the crab cake because it is SO good!

My husband and I ate here a couple of weeks ago and thought, Finally - a tasty breakfast for a reasonable price. And, best of all, all the staff were wearing masks. This showed us they actually cared about the safety of their customers. Such a huge disappointment when my husband returned this past Wednesday and NONE of the staff were wearing a mask. Sadly, we will not be going there again.

Absolutely the best anywhere!Very rarely do you see a restuarant get everything right. The Biscuit Barn serves great tasting, large portion, high quality meals at an amazingly low price. The wait staff are professional, attentive, always friendly and down to earth. The restuarant is always kept beautifully clean inside and out. What really stands out is the owners are warm, friendly and always make sure you are happy and your overall experience is delightful. You'll want to make The Biscuit Barn your regular stop for breakfast and lunch, it's a guarantee!

If you are within 50 miles of this place go there now. Very pleasant staff, fantastic food, and enough of it to put you into a good coma. Best country fried steak I have ever had along with the name sake bisquits make this a must try. Did not have the pancakes but they were huge and picture worthy.

Went there for breakfast today. Wife had the oatmeal. She loved it . It was made with steel cut oats just like her grand mother used to make.I ordered the biscuit barn special (which is a regular item on the menu. It included 2 eggs 2 bacon 2 sausage has browns and a biscuit. It was wonderful.There biscuits are amazing.Service was fast and super friendly. I highly recommend this place

Great little place to have breakfast. Great menu choices, good coffee, clean and well lit dining area. Waitresses are friendly always with a smile and very attractive to your needs. My coffee cup was always topped off and they kept returning to my table asking if I required anything else and if the meal was to my satisfaction. Their biscuits were fresh, buttery and delicious. If you are in the area go give them a try, you will not regret it.

Go in and have the best breakfast around 100 miles. Best cinnamon rolls ever eaten and the apple fritters are the heaven on earth. Perfect service. It is a must visit in the Crystal River earea.
